Profile of Poverty and Inequality of Aceh Province Population Expenditure September 2020

In September 2020, the number of poor people in Aceh was 833.91 thousand people (15.43 percent), an increase of 19 thousand people compared to the poor population in March 2020, which numbered 814.91 thousand people (14.99 percent).

During the period March 2020 – September 2020, the percentage of poor people in rural and urban areas experienced an increase. In urban areas, the percentage of poor people increased by 0.47 points (from 9.84 percent to 10.31 percent), while in rural areas it increased by 0.50 points (from 17.46 percent to 17.96 percent).
